Lying Leg Curl

The lying leg curl is an isolated exercise for your hamstrings (back of your upper leg). It is a great complement to the leg extension, which concentrates on your quads (front of your upper leg).

This exercise requires a lying leg curl machine.

  2. Grab the side handles for support
  3. Lift the weight up until your legs are fully curled
  4. Pause for a second
  5. Return to starting position
  6. Repeat steps 3 & 5 until you've repeated the desired number of reps
